Help Us Save Bodi

For the past four days, Bodi has been in the ICU with severe gastrointestinal complications. During her stay, doctors have had to drain 8 liters of fluid from her abdomen, and imaging has shown a significant enlargement of her intestines. The next critical step is exploratory surgery to understand what’s causing this and to give her a fighting chance at recovery.

Anyone who knows Bodi knows she’s more than just a dog — she’s a gentle soul. She’s the kind of dog who makes friends everywhere she goes, especially in hospitals, where she’s brought comfort, smiles, and hope to transplant patients during some of their hardest moments. She has an endless supply of love, a wagging tail for everyone she meets, and she will never turn down a treat.

So far, we’ve done everything we can to help her. We’ve already paid $9,000 in emergency and ICU care, and now we’re facing an additional $5,000 needed to move forward with surgery and continued treatment.
