This past Sunday, Teonia and her husband were in a terrible car accident. The majority of the impact was on Teonia’s side of the vehicle, leaving her with multiple serious injuries.

• Her right foot was crushed and will require surgery at St. Vincent’s in Birmingham, followed by at least 8 weeks of non-weight bearing recovery.

• She suffered an open fracture in her right wrist, which has already required surgery and will remain in a cast for 7 weeks.

• A large laceration from below her knee up the back of her thigh required staples.

• The entire right side of her body is currently unusable, making day-to-day life extremely difficult.

Teonia will be out of work for approximately 4 months while undergoing surgeries and physical therapy. In the meantime, her husband and mother are doing everything they can to care for the children, manage household responsibilities, and get her to appointments—but the financial strain is overwhelming.

Funds raised will go directly toward food, gas, medical bills, and daily expenses while Teonia recovers. Any support, big or small, would mean so much to her family during this difficult time.
