Our sweet cat Norbit who needs surgery.

Hi, we are Natalie and Scarlet (mom & daughter). Our beloved seven-year-old kitty Norbit has suddenly gotten very sick this last week. We took him to the vet, and the blood tests showed that he is likely to have liver disease (cholangiohepatitis), secondary to an obstruction in his abdomen that may be a foreign object that is lodged there. Our vet has also said that he may have cancer or FIP. We are obviously beside ourselves with worry.

Our vet has put him on antibiotics for possible bacterial infection of his liver as well as an anti-parasitic but has suggested medically he will need surgical exploration in the coming days (exploratory laparotomy).

We are doing everything we can to help our cat, Norbie, who is the sweetest, most affectionate, timid little guy, and we need some financial help to pay for his surgeries, medications, and ongoing care.
