Our family is currently experiencing an extremely unexpected, traumatic event as my husband, Cody Batchelor, has been admitted to the ICU and is fighting for his life after what we thought would be a routine, simple surgery. Being told just how rare of a situation this is, he is pushing through to his 4th surgery within a couple days, and we are still very deep inside these woods of devastation. Recovery will be in numerous different stages and extremely long and difficult. Cody, our 3 kids, and I are going to have to relearn and adapt to a much different every day life for months at minimum. While this moment in time feels as though our lives have come to a screeching hault, life is very much so still going on and bills are adding up already. Cody and I both work for phenomenal companies that are going to do their very best to support our family but we know it just won't be enough. There will be excess expenses on medical supplies, equipment, and medications on top of our every day bills. This is where we are coming to the community for help and assistance. All of the prayers and well wishes are more than welcome but we have to look at reality and what we have to do to keep our essentials for living as a family. Please give whatever your heart allows and know that we deeply appreciate any help from the bottom of our hearts. And we love all of you so so so much. Cody is Superman Strong and we have so much faith that this is just another hurdle in life and it is all in God's hands.
