We are the Alameda Unified School District LGBTQ+ Roundtable — a dedicated community of students, parents, teachers, and administrators united by a shared belief: every LGBTQ+ student and staff member deserves to feel safe, seen, and supported at school.

LGBTQ+ students face unique and often invisible challenges in the classroom, the hallway, and beyond. Their stories matter — and it’s time they’re heard. We are raising funds to create a training video led by student voices, sharing real experiences that will help school staff better understand, support, and affirm LGBTQ+ students. This project is about more than awareness — it’s about changing school culture so every student can thrive as their authentic self.
