Our Van Was Stolen
Spende geschützt
Yea, that’s me in the photo above. And that’s my parents van. It used to be my Dad’s home, but once we decided to move our family into a school bus, it became both of theirs and we were down to one transportation vehicle!
But tragedy struck the other night. Sometime while we were asleep, someone had come onto our property and stolen it. My parents and I had just come in late from a long road trip. We were all so exhausted. So we left a lot of the unpacking for the morning. Unfortunately, through their delirium, they also left the keys inside. And come the next morning, the van was gone. Along with my dad’s important tools, my mom’s purse and wallet (with way too much cash in it - $1100 to be exact, stupid Mommy), MY car seat, a laptop, musical instruments, our groceries…we just couldn’t stop thinking of all the valuables that were left in there.
We recently found out it was a person that we brought out here to California to help them get out of their situation and it sure did back fire on us. He knew about our financial situation and also know about ME!! and still took away all of these things. But unfortunately there is no security footage or physical evidence to capture this bad guy!
Suffice to say, the family is overwhelmed and in need of support. We know we can’t replace everything, but that van was essential to all of us. We don’t live in a very populated area, currently. We have no laundry services in the town we live in. Grocery options are quite limited here, too. There’s no public transit or ride share services and the next closest town is over an hour’s drive away. Please help us with what you can. Your support is immeasurably appreciated.
