The Trek Towards Europe

In the recent dramatic changes in world politics, President Trump’s treacherous rejection of the USA’s 80-year alliance with the UK and Europe, in favour of Putin’s Russia can have only one answer: the UK must Reunite with Europe: re-join the Union and create Joint Defence Forces.

The sculpture shown below, created by Jacques Tilly, was seen in the Dusseldorf Rose Monday procession on March 3rd 2025 and depicts the threat to European Unity and Peace and will be used in the UK to highlight the imperative for the UK to 'trek towards Europe'.

Stand with Our ‘Star of European Unity and Peace’

This Crowdfunding appeal is to help cover the costs of transportation and storage of Our Stars (Junior and Senior) during 2025 as they travel between events, to develop public support for reuniting with Europe.

Our Star offers the opportunity for any organisation dedicated to unity and peace to host the two sculptures at their event to create popular demand that the UK reunites with European nations at the earliest opportunity. Planning of the Trek is at an early stage, so please contact us now to take part. Below is a list of existing events in the calendar and we ask those planning or organising events to get in touch if they would like to host Our Star at their event.

Small Star to be in attendance. Organised by European Movement in Scotland. See Update 2.

5-7th and 8th May

VE-Day: Commemoration events focussed on PEACE

9th May

Europe Day: Events focused on European Unity and Peace

(suggested NRM Day of Action)

19th May

EU/UK Summit Conference: (Location not yet announced)

President Trump's State Visit (date to be announced):

First planning visit to Scotland; (Balmoral, Balmedie, Aberdeen ?)

Trump State Visit: Official events with tight security. London mainly ?

The first 'Our Star Trek'

Previous donations supported the the first Our Star Trek which delivered the campaign 'Choosing Our Future' within the UK from September 2023 to April 2024 and included events in Canterbury, London, Cardiff and Swansea in Wales, Leeds and 5 cities in Scotland, including Glasgow and Edinburgh. The entire trek covered over 3000 miles and over 25 separate events in just 6 months. Below are some events, most of which are further described here at the OurStar website.
