Our Special Sister Kirsty Koos
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Kayleigh Gully, we are fundraising for our beautiful sister Kirsty, who sadly passed away on the 6th of August.
Kirsty was born with Klippel Trenaunay Webber syndrome. Kirsty’s condition was so severe that she was unable to walk or talk. Despite this, Kirsty lived life to the fullest and touched everybody with her strength and character, she did not allow her disability to define her as a person. We were told at birth that Kirsty would not reach her teenage years. In 2007 whilst Kirsty was hospitalised for 3 months, we were all told as a family that she would not pull through on 3 occasions. Kirsty was a miracle and proved time and again how to beat the odds. The doctors said she turned a leaf in their medical books that should have never been turned. Kirsty was 18 at the time and went on another 17 years.
Our mum cared for Kirsty for 35 years and we would like any donations to help towards giving Kirsty the best send off that she deserves and to ease the burden & stress that mum is facing at this difficult time. We as her sisters are truly heartbroken and just want her day to be as special as she was. She really was one in a million❤️
Thank you for reading.
