My name is jordan the dad of marley, for the last year me and my fiance becky have essentially lived at Sheffield children's hospital with our son marley who was diagnosed with haddad syndrome meaning his autonomic functions didn't work correctly so even breathing he couldn't do and needed the help of a ventilator, also he had ultra long hirschprungs which basically meant his stomach wouldn't work and digest anything meaning he was fed through tpn via a central line (broviach +picc)

He suffered several infected lines during his stay and had many operations including a tracheostomy and removal of his entire large intestine and alot of his short one but due to his weight he was too small for bowel transplant options unfortunately just a week after his first birthday he sadly passed away due to another infection which caused sepsis in his line that he needed for his nutrition doctors unfortunately told us he wasn't going to survive long without nutrition but they were unable to find another vein access and he sadly lost his fight after 2 weeks without nutrition I've been off work now for the last 3 weeks and my employer doesn't offer me any sort of pay while I'm off so I'm just trying to raise a little bit of money to help give marley the best send off we can and help to keep our rent paid until we are ready for me to go back into work.
