Our Slappy Cakes Maui Family Members

Please help us provide emergency funding for our Slappy Cakes Maui employees, who have been severely impacted by the fires in Maui. 100% of every dollar donated is distributed directly to our employees for items like fresh water, food, diapers, wipes, formula, propane, gas, gas cans, generators, compostable toilets, and clothing. They have lost everything.
Here are a few updates over the last week:
- Most of our employees are out of shelters and staying with close friends and family.
- Many homes that were near the fire zone are temporarily unsafe for health reasons.
- These homes are still without electricity, phone signals or internet.
- Our employees immediately volunteered to cook and share all Slappy Cakes inventory and many are now volunteering with local relief efforts.
- Most are starting to receive support from non-profit and government agencies.
- Every Slappy Cakes employee is temporarily laid off and there are no jobs on the west side of the island.
- Slappy Cakes is looking to reopen in some capacity as soon as it is possible to support their livelihood and bring back some normalcy to our days.
We have been honored to serve Maui and our worldwide visitors for the last 10 years. As you know, our 64 employees are incredibly hard-working, kind, and generous. They are part of the heart and soul that makes Maui so special. By giving to this fund you will be providing the emergency financial support they need to support their families through this extremely difficult time.
