My sister had the most radiant soul, full of life and a smile so beautiful and bright you could see it from outer space. Her smile lit the entire room and guaranteed to brighten up your day. But sadly, her beautiful light was dimmed and her life was cut short after her lifelong battle with sickle cell disease. Many people didn’t know the pain she felt every day because she was a very private and quiet person. If you were blessed to have her as a close friend, then you knew the battle she was fighting because you fought them right alongside her. I’m heartbroken that her time with us has been cut short, but somehow happy for her that she is no longer in pain. I’m coming to all of my platforms to ask all of our friends and loved ones to help lay our sister to rest.
