Hello Awesome Community and R&G family!

My sis and long time friend needs our help; her husband has been hospitalized and with him has gone half of their income. He was in charge of paying the mortgage and all the utilities, and with his income going to hospitalization, rehab, and potentially long term care, Andrea is in a very tough spot and is battling many health issues as well.

Not only has Andrea been one of my best friends for the past 20 years and a huge part of our R&G family, she has been one of our most incredible supporters and cheerleaders since Victor's accident; she opened up her home to me when Victor was still in care facilities in the Seattle area. Andrea provided me a safe place to stay so I could see Victor every day, provided necessary love, friendship, sisterhood and support in my darkest time, fed both Victor and I well, listened with an empathetic ear when I was going crazy, and supported me as I looked for work for 6 months! She is one of the most giving, loyal, and honest friends to all who know her and cares for many people, despite struggling herself. Our friend is a rock star and needs this support in order to stay in her house and pay the backlog of bills that her husband left unattended (and hidden from her!).
