Hey y’all,

This isn’t something I ever imagined I’d be writing, but life has a way of throwing curveballs that knock the wind out of you before you can even blink.

On April 6th, our world changed in an instant. We lost our home to a devastating house fire. In a blink, everything we had built — the comfort, the memories, the little things we all take for granted — was gone.

We’ve been picking up the pieces ever since.

We’re staying strong for our son, who just turned 4 — our biggest reason to keep going. He’s starting Occupational Therapy soon, and we’re working to make sure he has all the love, structure, and tools he needs to thrive.

As for me, I’m actively searching for a remote job that allows me to care for him while rebuilding what we’ve lost. It hasn’t been easy. But I’m not giving up. That’s never been in my blood.

We have a few clothes now, and some donated furniture that we’re incredibly grateful for — but with bills piling up, trying to replace essentials, and still adjusting to a new normal, we’ve hit a point where we’re asking for help.

We had dreamed of celebrating our wedding this year, but we’ve put it on pause for now — not canceled, just delayed. We’re holding tight to that dream, because love is still here, burning brighter than any fire ever could.

This journey hasn’t been easy, but it’s been real. And it’s shown me that even in the darkest moments, there’s light. That people show up. That community matters. And that we will rebuild — slowly, surely, step by step.
