Our sister Rose was in a serious car accident on Tuesday. She lost control of her car when she was hit by another driver. Rose was transported to the ER at Sharp Coronado for x-rays and CT scans due to severe back pain. Then she was transported to the UCSD Hillcrest trauma center for an MRI and further evaluation. On Wednesday Rose was told that her L1 was crushed and she would need surgery. As of Thursday, Rose is waiting for surgery to remove the L1 vertebrae and fuse together her T12 and L-2 with plates and screws. She has no internal bleeding and has remained conscious, praise God. After surgery Rose will need physical therapy for 3 to 6 months depending on the outcome of the surgery. This GoFundMe has been created by her family to support Rose.
