Donate in memory of our real life Wonder Woman

Monika Angelica Nelson is and will always be one of the most amazing people to ever walk the earth.

In early August 2022, she was diagnosed with stage 3 inflammatory breast cancer. Though the original diagnosis was breast cancer, in mid September we learned that the cancer had spread to her lungs, liver, bones, and kidneys. Though she experienced severe pain after her diagnosis, she was still the most amazing mother, loving daughter, supportive sister and caring wife. On October 15th, just 2 days before her 43rd birthday, she was admitted to the hospital due to respiratory issues caused by pneumonia and complications from her original diagnosis. She fought to get well and made it home, but on Monday, November 7th, she returned to the hospital.

On November 8th, she was taken from us far too soon. She leaves behind twin 16 year old young ladies, a 9 year old diva, and a 1 year old baby boy - as well and a husband that loves her immensely, parents that will forever be in awe of the gift that God gave them when they made her, and a little sister that will always strive to be half the woman she was.

As you can tell by the time line, time has been moving at light speed for us. To share how we feel and what we are going through has been a struggle. We love all of our friends and family so much and are thankful for all of the love, prayers and condolences.

We are in the process to of planning her memorial service, as well as her cremation. We wish we were prepared for this heartbreak, but I don’t think anyone ever is. With the light speed diagnosis, we have now seen light speed expenses.

If anyone knows anything about my sister and I, we do our best to do for ourselves. But this is no longer a time for stubbornness… we need help. If you are able, please donate. And if you’re not able donate, please share and send prayers and positive energy our way.
