Thank you for taking a moment to read this. We are creating this fundraiser on behalf of our dear friend, who is going through one of the hardest moments of her life.

Her sweet GSP, Penny, suddenly became very sick and is currently at Baldivis Vet fighting to recover. The vets are doing everything they can, but the tests, treatments, and hospitalization have already become incredibly expensive -and the costs are only growing as Penny continues to need care.

Under normal circumstances, this would be overwhelming for anyone. But what makes this even more heartbreaking is that my friend is also grieving the recent loss of her father. She is in the middle of making arrangements, handling responsibilities she never expected to take on so soon, and trying to hold herself together while facing both emotional and financial strain.

Penny is more than a pet—she is family. She has been a constant source of comfort, love, and emotional support, especially during this devastating time.

Losing her is unimaginable, and the last thing our friend should have to worry about right now is whether she can afford the care that could save her dog's life.

We are asking for help—no matter how small—to cover Penny’s emergency vet bills and give this family some relief while they navigate grief and uncertainty.
