Our Precious Sutton Rae Galatians 6:2
On Tuesday, August 31st, 2021 we had a routine anatomy scan scheduled to see our sweet girl that we have been celebrating for 21 weeks. It was there that we learned she no longer had a heartbeat.
On Wednesday, September 1st, 2021 after 3.5 hours of intense labor, Sutton Rae Banks was born at 10:38pm. She was tiny and beautiful, weighing 0.42lbs and 7inches long.
The Lord has been so kind to us. We have had moments to laugh and cry together. Though we are broken and grieving, we do not grieve as those who have no hope.
We know our precious daughter was in our Father’s arms before we even met her. I’m so thankful for the hope and strength we have in that. She will know no pain or grief, only joy and love. What a gift.
Thank you to our family and friends and church family at Exchange Church who have rallied around us and held us up as we have walked this impossibly painful last few days. We can never thank you enough.
We will have a service to celebrate the hope we have in Jesus on Tuesday, September 7th, 2021 at 11:30am at Pine Forest Memorial Gardens in Wake Forest. We would love to share in our grief, hope and celebration with you.
“And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you. To him be the dominion forever and ever. Amen.”
1 Peter 5:10-11
