Hi my name is Kevin Krestinski and I am the brother in-law to Robert and Rosalie Thomas.
On March 30, 2023 at 8:10 pm we got the news that there had been a terrible accident that had closed the QEW @ Beamsville/Tufford Rd. We raced to Hamilton General and McMaster Hospitals as Rosalie (mom), Lucas and Ethan (twins) were at different hospitals. At approximately 9 pm our sweet Lucas was pronounced. The wonderful EMT’s, Police and attendants did everything they could to save our boy. Our experience at McMaster Children’s Hospital was tremendous. Truly a special place. Ethan and Rosalie were released that evening with injuries but mostly minor. It’s a miracle they survived. I am initiating this Go Fund Me as the community has asked me to initiate this for the family. Lucas was on the Autism Spectrum and such an inquisitive bright young boy. He will be deeply missed at family events, his daycare and with his classmates. Both Ethan and Lucas regularly talked about the excellent teaching and guidance they receive each and every day. We don’t know what the future holds but we have a faith that our God will carry us through. May He be glorified by this needless and senseless tragedy.
