Honor Our Perfect Queen ~ Karly Rain Wood

This doesn't even seem real and every day has been a struggle and indescribable pain for the grieving family and friends of Karly Rain.

On November 13th, 2022 Karly Rain Wood innocently attended a Birthday party for only 15 minutes. In those 15 minutes, at only 20 years old she was maliciously shot 8 times and murdered by multiple felons...Felons with guns. A mass shooting in Omaha, Ne. Karly was the only one who lost her life and who was shot so many times.

NO mother should ever lose their child, and worse like this. Increasing the reward to find those responsible for killing Karly is something her mother would like to do as no one is speaking out for her.

Us friends have gathered together to raise money for this process of Karly Rain's grieving family. We are hoping you can help her family give Karly the memorials she deserves, help with her casting ceremony and help them along this bereavement process. These will go to her mother and sister to help them.

This senseless act leaves friends, family, former teachers, coaches, and coworkers without words.. watching Karly's mom and sister grieve, try to push through daily tasks and yet still work hard to strive for justice for their daughter/sibling is heartbreaking. Her mother Amber is dedicated to fight for change, honor Karly and keep her memory alive. She is trying to keep her small businesses going while honoring her baby. No one knows how to plan for this, this type of death. No one plans for this.

They may not even know what their future looks like.. memorials, the bereavement process, estate, legal fees, a celebration of life services, unforeseen expenses, casting ceremony, bills, counseling, missed work and starting a foundation in Karly's honor. This process is awful and what no mother should have to go through for her daughter alone. Karly was "perfect", and made us all feel better just being around her. She was so independent and inspired us to be better. She helped us stand up for ourselves and love who we are. She was kind and always knew what we needed when we were having a bad day. Karly was a light.

Her mother keeps trying to fight for her and fight for change. Going to speak to the state legislature on bills, staying informed on the ongoing investigation and court process. While grieving her daughter being torn from her. This is a long journey Karly's family is going to be on. They still wonder if they will see justice.

We have seen how this horrible tragedy has torn Karly's dear beloved family members apart. We are asking for help to stand up for Karly Rain. Losing a loved one abruptly in this way is something you can't explain. Even we look at life differently, and know it could have been anyone. We wonder why these felons were even allowed to be out in a position to hurt her. Any donations and prayers for the family's bereavement process are truly appreciated.
