Choco’s name will always live on. He was known as the perfect gentleman—never jumping on people, always gentle with children, and never a barker. Choco was there for me through every challenge, from my cancer diagnosis and chemotherapy to surgeries and the unexpected onset of diabetes. He was my solid companion, my 'service fur guy,' and he himself faced epilepsy with remarkable resilience. Through it all, Choco stayed by my side, offering comfort and unwavering support.

Choco’s journey was extraordinary. Born in Hawaii, he lived in Iowa, and by his fourth birthday, he was with me for the past 14 years. He joined me on road trips to California and all over the Southwest, always loving to sunbathe and hating to get wet. On his final day, he enjoyed a warm bath, and as his breathing slowed, I told him it was okay to go. Surrounded by love, he took his last breath, leaving a legacy of kindness and courage. Choco was more than a pet—he was my puppy, my son, my little protector, and my best friend.

Now, I want to honor Choco with a proper cremation and burial, including special memorial offerings like a nose print, paw print, and anything else that will celebrate his life.
