By the beginning of next April, our elderly elephants need to leave their current home. After many wonderful years at our this location, The Legacy River Kwai Resort, we want to share that Somboon Legacy Foundation will soon be relocating to a new location in Sai Yok, Kanchanaburi.

We called this land home, this is the place that gave us the opportunity to set up our hands-off project and we will always be thankful for this, but it is time to make a move.

From an empty piece of land across the Kwai River, we need to recreate and rebuild all the essential for our new sanctuary:

* The healthcare area for our elephants

* The night elephant shelters

* The watch elephant towers

* The elephant kitchen

* The mahout village

* The office/lobby/sound room

* Fully equipped spaces for our tours, such as restrooms, a canteen, shaded areas, and the arrival area

* The interactive elephant museum

* Poo paper factory

* Plantation of more trees and the creation of green areas

* Water and electricity supply systems

* Road and infrastructure

* Renovation of the boat used to cross the river

* Second hand trucks with roof
