Our occupational therapy school trip to Jordan
Donation protected
In August of 2022, a team of 5 Occupational Therapy students from Boston will be traveling to Amman, Jordan. We will be collaborating with community-health workers to train families of children with disabilities in refugee camps on simple home interventions to help their children. Our goal is to provide training to the caregivers of children with varying disabilities using culturally relevant and sustainable methods, such as home programming. We would appreciate your support in travel-related expenses to Jordan and in buying a printer and printing supplies to print home programs for each family. We would also like the opportunity to buy books, crafts, and toys for the children. We’re so grateful for the opportunity to learn from this community and for the support we have received thus far. If you have any questions, please reach out to us!
