Hello,

Our Native Glens aim to create, restore and protect habitats in the North Leitrim area. By creating natural habitat with native species we will be combatting the biodiversity crisis by allowing more species to thrive. Through the restoration of habitat we ensure a local stewardship of these habitats, allowing nature to flourish long into the future. The protection of the habitats will establish a sense of connection and pride which will strengthen and grow the public's appreciation for biodiversity which is one of the biggest threats.

As Sir David Attenborough said:

We have already helped restore a bog by pulling 200 birch tree, we planted around 350 tree and we have done an invasive species workshop in Lurganboy woods. We will continue to run workshops twice a month to include:
