Our Mom's Journey



We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Our mom went in for a hysterectomy on February 15th and on February 16th, as she were preparing to go home, she got the shock of a lifetime. They found cancer in her fallopian tubes and ovaries and would need to go back in to do a debulking/staging surgery within the next two days. We were shocked, her doctors were shocked! She was officially diagnosed with stage 3C Fallopian Tube Cancer (categorized as Ovarian Cancer). The good news is she was optimally debulked; meaning they got out all tumors and traces of cancer (to the visible eye). She is currently undergoing Chemotherapy, with her last session in early August. With all of the complications that she has experienced, all of the long hospital stays, tests, surgeries, procedures, medications, treatments, dietary restrictions, food costs, medical bills coming in, etc...it is all starting to compile. Even with the help of family, it is still very expensive. We are humbly asking for your help, to help our amazing Mom not have to worry about the financial aspect of this "journey". She is the most amazing, loving, and supportive Mother any of us could ever ask for, and we want to be able to help her in any way possible. She has sacrificed so much for us throughout her life, and this is just one way to help give back to her. We have not told her that we are doing this, as we know that she would never ask for money from others. No matter how hard the times may be, she has always pushed forward. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you! At the end of this battle, our Mom WILL be a survivor!
