My mother is a phenomenal, creative, professional, pleasant, loving, happy woman who has battled behind the scenes, with Congestive Heart Failure and Cardiomyopathy since 2013. Her diagnosis took an unexpected turn when her doctors said that she has end-stage CHF and will need a heart transplant. Staying strong and positive through her faith and super natural will to live, she received the exciting and blessed phone call that her new heart had come in on 11/29/2016 and that she should begin to prepare for her heart transplant surgery early morning 11/30/2016 at 5:30 am in Los Angeles.
No one will ever know the strength and faith it has taken for my Mom to get to this point.
Today she will have her new heart transplant surgery and receive her new heart of which will be a daybof happy tears for each of us but her journey has just begun.
