It takes a village

Hello, My name is Kasandra and I'm setting up this fundraiser for my Mom who is currently in the hospital. On May 6th she couldn't breathe and was taken to the ER. There she found out she has a collapsed lung and blebs, which are small air pockets that burst. She was then also made aware that she has emphysema.  She's had two emergency surgeries in 48 hours and has at least two more surgeries ahead to try and stabilize her lung. Emphysema has no cure, and even with successful surgeries life will be drastically different and the road to recovery a long one. She is only in her early 40's and still has my younger siblings at home to care for. It takes a village, and our family can really use the support right now.
