We are doing this fundraiser for our Beautiful Mom Maria G. Pinto Rodriguez Funeral & Memorial Services. COVID-19 2020
Our Mamasita Linda was a very independent woman of god she had 4 daughters 13 Grandkids and 2 Great Granddaughters. To her grandkids she was known as "Ama" & "Lita".
Our Mom was the Oldest Child out of 8 - 5 Brothers & 2 Sisters, She was born in a small town called Talpa de Allende Jalisco in February 1951.
Her childhood was not the typical one of now a days, she had to work hard since she was a little girl to help her parents raise her younger brothers and sisters, she didn't have the education she would have wanted to but when she came to the US she applied herself she managed she struggled so much hardship but she was a strong woman that knew she had to care for her children and she never gave up she learned to manage the English language to the best of her ability she went to school and she would study so that she could learn. She worked hard and never gave up whatever she needed to do.
Our Mom was the kind of woman that relied on her own two feet no matter the obstacles, Day In Day Out, Church every Sunday, Food Banks, Bus Rides all across town to get to where she needed to be. Her priority was 1st God 2nd her Family. Her strength and will power and with God by her side she said nothing was impossible for her and it was enough to last a lifetime. She did so much for us all without expecting anything in return.
Our Mom reside in Los Angeles CA since 1981, she loved spending time with all her family, she travelled yearly to Mexico to visit all her loved ones and care for them when they were ill.
Our Mom loved spending her days studying & reading Bible verses she loved making flowers and crafting, crocheting beanies, blankets and making magnets, and she loved birds.
August 24th 2020 I picked up My Mom from Reno NV Airport because she wanted to spend some time with me and my family in a small beautiful town called Battle Mountain Nevada, My Mom had never lived anywhere else other than California since she came to the USA. This was new for her but she enjoyed the view, the mountains she loved the snow she had never seen snow this close.
Her 2nd Great Granddaughter was Born 12/21/2020 My Mom was so excited for her soon arrival to our lives she said "Otra Bendision de Nuestro Dios Padre" (Another Blessing from our Father God) Amen. She Spent hours Crocheting for her a small blanket, 2 Beanie's and 1 Pair of Shoes, she was so excited to See her wearing them and she will from heaven.
If you met Our Mom you would know she was a grate person old school but grate she loved us all she helped us all when we most needed her she was there.
In November 23rd 2020 my our Mom tested positive for COVID-19 she was very positive, when she started getting sick she kept praying and that made her feel good she prayed every day. My Mom kept telling I am going to live because God is good and I don't think its my time yet. But if it's God will then let it be.
I cared for her at home to the best of my ability for several days on November 25th we had to go back to Battle Mountain ER where they treated her and provided me with Medications & Oxygen tank to bring her home and I drove to Elko NV to pick up 1 month supply of Oxygen to keep taking care of my Mother at home in hopes and with Gods help that she would soon get better and we would all be ok.
November 27th we had to go back to Battle Mountain ER, My Mothers Oxygen was not enough with what I had at home to care for her. She at this moment had to be transported by Air to Salt Lake City University Hospital of Utah, where she was treated for Covid-19.
Our Mom fought this battle with all her strength and God by her side she never lost faith and neither did we. But we cant change God's plan.
On December 25th 2020 GOD TOOK ANOTHER ANGEL HOME...….
We are asking for Donations to cover costs.
Because Our Mom was Aired to Utah to be cared for @ Salt Lake City University Hospital and most of our family is in California we have to arrange for her to be transported to Los Angeles CA. To Giver her a proper Burial.
Anything will Help we thank you and appreciate you reading our Mom's Story.
