Our mom is getting her lung transplant!!

Hi everyone,

As many of you know, our mom Kathy Dean has been on oxygen for seven years. She was born with a lung defect and has had spontaneous pneumothorax since she was 27. She has developed other lung problems since then as well. Because of this, she has been waiting for a double lung transplant for a long time, and the time is finally here!! God has answered our prayers!!

With a double lung transplant comes the hardship of paying bills and medical costs as she will have to stay in CA for at least two months post transplant. We will also be staying with her as required by transplant guidelines.

This two month + timeline will be a very challenging time for her and our family. We want to thank everyone for their prayers! We appreciate all help no matter how small. She will get through, we all know how strong she is!
