My mom is a loving mother, a devoted wife, a caring daughter, and a wonderful sister. She has always been the kind of person who puts everyone else before herself. She is kind, funny, selfless, and always there for the people she loves. She is the one who holds our family together.

How We Discovered the Cancer

On New Year’s Day, while everyone was celebrating, my mom suddenly experienced extreme pain in her pelvic area. The pain was so severe she almost went to the hospital. But because she didn’t want to ruin the moment or worry us, she chose to endure it quietly. That moment changed everything. She was later diagnosed with Stage 4B ovarian cancer.

How This Has Affected Our Family

When my grandmother heard the news, she cried endlessly and said she wished it was her instead—because her grandchildren still need their mother.

My dad, Dennis, tries to stay strong every day, even though he has broken down many times behind the scenes.

Our entire family is heartbroken. But we are holding on to hope.

She Is Fighting

Despite everything, my mom continues to show strength, love, and resilience. We truly believe she has the strength to fight this battle. We just need to give her the chance.

Why We Are Asking for Help

Her treatment is urgent and intensive. She must go through chemotherapy first to reduce the cancer before surgery can even take place, followed by long-term treatment and ongoing care.

She is currently uninsured, and the costs are overwhelming.

The Hardest Part
