Hello,
My name is Molly, and my mom Tracie Rodrigues was diagnosed with cancer.
She is a 59-year-old beloved mother of three, grandmother of three, sister, and friend.
She was diagnosed on 4/22/22 with metastatic adenocarcinoma with unknown primary origin. This diagnosis is still developing, but she will begin chemo treatment on 05/15/22. This will demand more time, money, and energy from our small family unit.
My sisters and I do our best to work enough to cover all of our bills and life expenses financially while juggling unstable housing. While I, 25 years old, work and go to grad school full time 6 hours away, my younger sister Gabby, works as my mom's full-time caregiver due to a myriad of previous diagnoses.
It was when our mom was diagnosed with metastatic cancer we began to rethink what we were going to do. Hearing the doctor's treatment plan to proceed with chemo, we knew we would need our community to help us help our mom.
We plan to use these funds to alleviate the financial burden that our family is facing so we can focus on prioritizing our mom's health, engaging her loved ones, and spending as much time with her as we can.
Thank you for taking the time to read some of our story.
We know God can work miracles, and we would greatly appreciate your prayers and compassion at this time.
With great love,
Our family
