Hi everyone, my name is Tatiana Pihema and I am writing this today with a heart full of both immense gratitude and sudden worry. I am raising funds for my beloved dog, who many of you know as a true miracle. After being missing for nearly a whole year, year of heartbreak and constant searching.. he finally found his way back to me.

My boy isn't just a pet, he is my best friend, basically my shadow haha Having him return after so long was the greatest gift I’ve ever received, and I am still so incredibly thankful for the support this community showed us when he first came home. Those initial donations were a lifeline, helping us get his first vet checkups and providing the extra kia and care he needed to settle back into a life of love.

Since his return, we’ve been making up for every single day we lost being together, beach trips, forest walks, and so many adventures. He was healing so beautifully, and I truly believed we were through the worst of it. That is why I haven't asked for help since that first time, I wanted to do this on my own.

Recently, life threw us a sudden and scary curveball. He started limping randomly, and after a "wait and see" week advised by the vet, he hasn't improved. We are now at a critical point where he needs an urgent X-ray to determine if he requires immediate surgery.

In today’s world, where everything is becoming so expensive, I find myself in a difficult position. An X-ray alone is costing us $500. To put that in perspective, that is more than a whole week’s wages for me. With the rising cost of living, it would take me at least five weeks to save that amount on my own, and my boy simply doesn’t have five weeks to wait in pain.

Every dollar raised will go directly toward:

• His urgent X-ray ($500)

• Follow-up consultation fees

• Immediate treatment or surgery costs based on the X-ray results
