Today we lost our Sweet Gabriella. When she was born the Drs told us she wouldnt live more than a couple minutes. Gabriella was born without a brain. She was at first diagnosed with hydrocephalus , but then became undiagnosed when she got off hospice after a year of living! She was just like the scarecrow that had no brain, only she had the heart of the lion and courage of the tin man. She was such a fighter.

They told us she couldnt hear, see or feel. They were so wrong. She knew her mommy's touch and voice, her big sisters kisses and love. She loved spending time with Daddy and she loved bathtime and rocking with Mimi. She especially loved singing with Grandpa! She could reach your soul with her eye contact and you could feel her connection every time.

Noone expects their child / grandchild to pass at 2 1/2 years old. Every day of life was a blessing and a true miracle. Although she proved everyone wrong about how long she would be with us, it is still very heartbreaking to have to bury a child. She was a fighter. She fought because she had so much love. Unfortunately, noone would insure her due to her illness. We tried several insurance companies but it was always a no.

We want to give our Sweet Gabriella a beautiful service, casket and unique headstone.

This is why we are asking for your help today. She deserves nothing but the best. She was a blessing and a miracle.
