Our Minivan Was Stolen

This morning, at approximately 9:30 am, as we prepared to leave home (take Deanna to her job, me to mine), an unknown, and unseen individual took advantage of Deanna's 20 second absence from the running van (she had to retrieve something form inside the home; I was still inside getting ready, and unaware of the situation as it was happening at that moment), hopped in and drove away. In the van were her purse (containing the usual personal items - phone, keys, wallet, camera, etc), my DoorDash delivery supplies (several thermal bags, worth about $100 total), and a few items of sound equipment that I was going to put in storage after I finished my catering deliveries.

As we do not know how soon this issue will be resolved, and given the fact that my primary income is earned with the van, on a daily basis, we set the amount at $5000 to help cover the bills we have coming up, the cost of replacing Deanna's cleaning supplies (she cleans houses to help with the income), plus the cost of replacing the audio equipment that was taken (as many of you know, I earn some of my income through live-sound gigs, one of the largest of which is coming up in about a month and a half, and is in California).

As for the van itself...I'm not sure what we are going to do at this point. The van was a gift from my parents, just a few months ago when our previous two vehicles (a sedan and an older minivan) died on us, and were too expensive to fix. This van was our sole means of transportation, particularly for me (I use it for delivery work, and to haul heavy sound gear around), but also to get Deanna to her cleaning client's homes.

We are extremely grateful for any help you can offer, financial or otherwise, and are very humbled by the love and support already shown to us, just since this morning!
