Meryn’s life support and recovery

On Saturday evening, we received a phone call that my baby sister Meryn had a heart attack and was on life support at Flagstaff Medical Center. The previous days before she went camping with some friends and her two younger sisters up north. On Saturday morning they all went hiking and once returned to the campsite, they all took a nap and that is when one of our younger sisters woke up to Meryn having a stroke/seizure. She went into cardiac arrest, but one of the friends began CPR till the closest fire department arrived for help and performed CPR with shock pads. After two shocks, they found a faint pulse and immediately transferred her to the medical center. She has been there since fighting for her life. Every day she shows more and more progress of waking up and that she is still there. We did received news with her MRI results that the right side of her brain is damaged due to lack of oxygen, so she will have a long road of recovery. We pray everyday that she will wake up soon to us.

With recent precious tragedies that has happened to our family before this, the medical bills are making it very difficult for my family. We want the best for her during this time and the long road of recovery as well. With your help, you can make that happen for her.
