G’day my names Tayla, unfortunately this morning the RAAF cricket world received horrific news that one of our own, Ricky Mace tragically passed away early hours this morning from a cardiac arrest. This is heart breaking to say the least and will now leave us all shattered for many years to come. Ricky sadly leaves behind his beautiful wife Lennie and three sons James, harry and Reilly … who will forever remember him for the family man he was.

Macey gave so much not only to the RAAF cricket family but also to the ADF cricket family, a support and dedication that cannot be replaced. As his family grieves during this time, I hope now it’s time we give back to his family like he did all of us. If you’re like me and wondering what you can do to help, in the coming weeks Lennie will be forced to make some of the hardest decisions she will ever have to make, while still providing love and support for their boys. Not only is the family carrying a heavy heart but also have to face the financial burden that comes with these choices ahead. Please I urge you all, let’s give back and support them any way we can.
