We want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who contributed to our extreme need fund to help our Kindergarten student, Patrick, who was in a devastating house fire with his family, leaving them with nothing.

Thanks to your generous donations we are able to cover all the medical costs for Patrick and his father, who will be discharged from hospital this week, and we can cover rent and the delivery of weekly food packages for the family for at least the next eight months!

We are looking for support as very sadly on Monday evening one of our young Kindergarten students, part of our hearing-impaired unit, and his family were in a terrible house fire which has left them with nothing.

The whole family - Patrick’s mother, father, twin brothers and sister were involved in the fire and are all profoundly deaf.

Patrick and his father have severe burns, meaning they are unable to hear, see or use their hands to sign, while experiencing unimaginable pain.

We would be so grateful for any donations or support that you might be able to spare for us to help this family in extreme need.

£1,500 will help provide this family with rent for the year, basic food, belongings and medical treatment, to help get them back on track.

Anything more that is kindly given will go towards our extreme need fund, so we are able to support families in crises such as this one in the future.
