Urgent support for our loving father, DESMOND WADE

On June 7th 2025, we lost our beloved father, Desmond Wade, at just 53 years old to a rare and aggressive form of pancreatic cancer. His diagnosis in July 2023 was unimaginable—our dad was full of life, energetic, and always the heartbeat of any gathering. We never could have prepared for this devastating reality.

Desmond was a man who lit up every room he entered. His loud, vibrant, and kind personality was infectious. As a DJ, he had a gift for turning any moment into a celebration, and as a father, he had an unparalleled ability to uplift those around him. He was the kind of person who made people feel seen, heard, and valued.

Despite enduring the strongest chemotherapy treatments, his cancer proved relentless. It consumed his body, depriving him of the nutrients he needed to survive. The doctors tried everything—even placing a stent to relieve a blockage in his duodenum—but more tumours continued to spread, invading his abdomen, bowels, and even his bones. It was a brutal battle, one that left him in unimaginable pain. Yet through it all, his unwavering will to live and be with us never wavered.

Watching this unfold was heartbreaking, especially for his two young children who still needed their dad. Now, as we try to navigate this painful loss, we also face the reality of funding his funeral. We want to give our dad the farewell he deserves—a send-off befitting the incredible light he was to everyone who knew him.
