Our Lovely Lissa struck by stray bullets NYE

The BSide Family is absolutely heartbroken to report that Lissa, our co - worker, “care taker” and dear friend, was shot while inside her house on New Years Eve / early morning New Years Day.

Apparently random rounds of “celebratory gunfire” permeated the walls of her Cooper Young home resulting in multiple injuries to both of her legs.

The physical damages and long term effects from this absurd tragedy are yet to be determined but we have confidence in the exceptional medical professionals at Regional One Hospital (The Med.) She is expected to remain under their care for the next 5-10 days after which she will return home to continue her recovery.

Lissa has been brightening up our days as a long time Bartender at Zinnies and now Bside Bar in Memphis, TN for years. She puts the Happy in “Ours” and we are so greatful that she is still here with us.
