“What an ironic fate it must be, that when Mother’s were just celebrated for their lives just a few weeks ago, now another Mother is fighting for her life...”
Sitti or Sit-sit as what most of her friends call her, was looking forward to Mother’s Day for two reasons, one because it’s the day to celebrate her motherhood and second but most importantly, she is to give birth via c-section of her 2nd child on May 8th.
The family was overwhelmed with joy when their much awaited baby boy finally came. They were very delighted to enjoy their new bundle of joy and they recorded those precious moments & even shared it to everyone in social media (youtube).
But that happiness was abruptly cut short when the unthinkable happened.
Just two weeks after giving birth to their 2nd child, Sitti was found by her husband Rem unresponsive and without pulse. He hurriedly called 911 and tried to perform CPR to revive her until EMS came and she was taken via life flight to the Texas Medical Center.
At the hospital, Sitti was found to have suffered a Brain Aneurysm which resulted to a Subarachnoid Hemorrhage that caused her to have a severe brain damage. She is currently in a critical condition.
Her husband, who is still traumatized and who is still trying to make sense of what happened, is now left by himself to tend to their young children, the oldest who is only 3 and the youngest who is about two weeks old and who still breastfeeds to his Mom.
The children may not know or understand why their mother is not with them but they can certainly feel her absence and are longing for her presence.
Their situation is so dire and difficult at the moment that the baby has to be left in the care of their neighbors & friends on some occasions.
Sitti is a fighter who is still holding on to her life for the sake of her children. She is still unconscious and alone in the ICU. Her condition is still unknown but by the grace of God, may the doctors find a way to help her recover.
We want to knock on your hearts to pray for Sitti and her family in this very difficult time. Your monetary assistance will also be greatly appreciated by her family.
This family’s predicament is not only physically, emotionally and mentally draining but also financially as well. Any help financially will greatly assist on Sitti’s medical bills.
Sitti is still at the dawn of her life at a young & ripe age of 36. If she can only speak, I am sure she will plead for a second chance at life to be with her family.
