I am Sabreen Al-Bawab from Gaza, a mother of three children

(Ellen is 11 years old, Natal is 8 years old, Hani is 5 years old)

Thank you for all of your support, even the most simple donation will go a long way to help me and my family evacuate and have a chance to rebuild a life.

We were forced to flee, so we had to abandon our home and headed to the south of the Gaza Strip. We was unfortunately unable to carry any of our personal belongings. We could only escape with our lives to search for safety, as there was no safety, as the attacks affected all regions of and neighbourhoods.

This war caused us a great loss. Our new home was demolished. The house we dreamed of and worked so hard for was demolished in the blink of an eye. The family home was even devastated.

We became without homes and forced to live in a tent for 10 months to where we are subjected to famine, disease, unhygienic environment, a complete lack of basic human resources.

We also lost work, our only source of income, and we were forced to leave our car in the north. We lost everything. we do not wish to be in a position to have to ask people to support us in our distress, but as a mother i must do what is necessary for my family to survive.

Now we live in tents and suffer from the spread of insects, diseases and epidemics. My children live the harshest days, as nothing is clean here, neither food nor water.

My eldest child, Elaine, was infected with hepatitis C, which is widespread among people.
