Hello, we are a group of final year Events Management students at Sheffield Hallam University and as part of our final project we are challenged to plan and deliver a fundraising charity event for 3 amazing local charities, Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity, Cavendish Cancer Care and Weston Park Cancer Charity. We are currently in the initial stages of planning and the initial funds raised will be used to cover the event costs and then everything after that will all go to these 3 charities.

Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity is one of three stand-alone specialist children’s hospitals in the UK and provides a healthier future for children and young people.

Cavendish Cancer Care offers support to people who have a cancer diagnosis or those who are recovering from cancer, as well as supporting family members or carers of people affected by cancer.

Weston Park Cancer Charity offers help and support if you or someone you care about is affected by cancer. They offer welfare and legal advice for any financial worries or queries and work with AGEUK to provide access to independent living support.

All three charities have their own websites which provide lots more information regarding how donations benefit each charity and more about what they do!

Any donations are greatly appreciated, not only to help with our project but to really make an impact for these charities!
