Our little Wy Wy

Hi,

Many of you may not know me, but my name is Jacquelyn Brown and I am one of John Luczak’s best friends. With permission, I wanted to create this gofundme to help support the Luczak family in this unfortunate time.

Sunday, July 17th every parents worst fear became a reality for them and our little Wy Wy was rushed to the local hospital and then transferred to Chicago for further intensive testing and treatment. After days it was determined and decided to do comfort measures so that family and close ones could spend time and say their last goodbyes. Heather and Mike have made the selfless decision to donate his organs to other children in need, in hopes of one less parent having to go through what they are.

I say “our Wy Wy” because it is evident that Wyatt made an impact on each and every person he’s ever met or have been mentioned to. I can confidently say that Wyatt knows nothing but unconditional love and I hope down the road that is something that we all can look back on. Wyatt is a lover of all things. John Deere tractors, his animals, his family and friends, rides with uncle John, dad’s firetrucks, the list goes on and on.

Mike is a firefighter for the Kouts fire department and a local 6787 USW member. It is evident the KFD are Wyatt’s second family.

The support that has been shown is unbelievable and I hope that we can continue that support financially. The Luczak family has a very long road ahead of them. Both financially and emotionally. The last thing they need to worry about it rushing back to work… but rather take time to navigate this next chapter in life.
