That's the reality for nickey jrn, our son, born prematurely at just 27 weeks. Since then, he's faced a relentless barrage of health challenges: congenital heart disease, chronic lung disease, hyperthyroidism, T21, cleft lip and palate, pulmonary hypertension, and pulmonary stenosis. He spent his first nine months in the hospital, and even at home, his severe conditions require constant, specialized care.
