- Our little girl was born with a PDA discovered when she went to get fixed. If it's not repaired she has a life expectancy of 1-2 years. If it's fixed she leads a normal life span. The cardiologist said though rare it happens and lucky we caught it. The cost is between $5400 & $7500 anything helps. Thank you all for helping our fur baby. We are going to get surgery on 7/29. We only adopt rescues sometimes they have hidden problems discovered after the fact. My wife and each have one dog and we love them very much
