Help Us Lay Our Baby Boy to Rest
Donation protected
No parent should ever have to face the unimaginable pain of losing a child, especially one they never had the chance to hold. Our son was diagnosed with a very rare genetic mutation at 20 weeks that caused multiple fractures while he should have been safely growing in Akiko's tummy. He was born at 28 weeks and we need your support to help us honour our little boy Yuto and give him the peaceful farewell he deserves.
The emotional toll of planning a farewell for him is overwhelming, but we want to honour his memory through a traditional Japanese Buddhist custom. These customs are deeply meaningful to us and will allow us to say goodbye with the love and respect he deserves. Your support will help us provide him with a peaceful farewell, enabling us to import the necessary items from Japan and create lasting, meaningful memories during this heartbreaking time.
Though it has been the hardest period of our lives, our baby boy brought so much joy to us. We were a family of four while he was growing in Akiko's tummy. Now, at least, he can rest in peace, free from the pain of fractures, brittle bone like snowflake.
If there are any funds remaining after covering these costs, we will donate them to a charity that helped us along this journey. We are considering organisations like Heartfelt Photography, Bear Cottage, Possum Portrait, or Westmead children's Hospital who have provided invaluable support.
Your kindness and generosity mean the world to us as we navigate this difficult time. Thank you for helping us honour Yuto's memory with love and peace.
