Our beautiful, historic 112 year old Carnegie Library suffered severe water damage last year and is in desparate need of some tender, loving care. The basement, which houses our non-fiction collection, our mining collection and meeting rooms has been closed due to high levels of mold spores. We need to raise the matching funds for a $200,000 grant that the Town of Silverton has applied for through the Historical Society so that our Library can continue to serve our small community. The Silverton Public Library is a historic landmark that deserves to be given a new lease on life. Please be apart of history and help us save this beautiful old building that is filled with love for all who use it.
