We are group of passionate film students from the Northern Film School working to create our short drama Our Lad, a heartfelt story that explores family, identity and survival.

The film follows two brothers from the same home but from very different worlds.

Callum: The older brother, hardened by the streets and weighed down by the dangerous life he’s caught in.

Alfie: His younger sibling, softer, expressive and trying to discover himself.

At its core, Our Lad is a story about brotherhood and protection. Even in the darkest times or the harshest environments, love can survive.
