Our Journey to Parenthood - IUIs and IVF

UPDATE: We are planning on trying two rounds of IUI and then IVF is our only other option. In total, we will need 11k if we end up having to do all 3. The IUIs are $1,200 each. Our first one was cancelled due to an infection, so we are planning on September for our first round! Your support is so appreciated. We are Brain and Rachel Washington, a couple on a journey that is deeply personal and close to our hearts – the journey to becoming parents.

In 2021, our world was touched by both joy and sorrow when we experienced the heartache of a miscarriage. It was a moment that changed us, leaving a void that only the laughter of a child could fill. Since then, our path to parenthood has been filled with the highs of hope and the lows of unexplained infertility. We've tried various avenues, from IUIs to medications and supplements, hoping for that long-awaited positive sign.

Recently, we discovered a glimmer of hope in a caring OBGYN who believes a laparoscopy procedure might unveil the answers we've been desperately seeking. It's a procedure that could bring clarity to our infertility journey and guide us toward the next steps in building our family.

Here's where you come in – our incredible support system. After dealing with insurance complexities, we find ourselves facing a financial obstacle of around $4,000 for the laparoscopy. It's a sum that feels overwhelming, and we're reaching out to you for a helping hand.
