Our Journey to Mommie-Hood

Hello Family & Friends!
First off, thank you all for taking the time to visit this page. Kayla and Morgan appreciate all of your support thus far on their journey and are looking forward to the long road ahead.
For those of you who don't know them, Kayla and Morgan Cuico are both educators in the Santa Barbara community and have called Santa Barbara home for over ten years. Their love story started in 2008 after Kayla moved to Santa Barbara to help her cousin take care of her nephew, Conner. Their spark and chemistry were immediate, and they were engaged by 2009 and married in 2012. In the meantime, they became aunties and god-mommies to kids who they love as their own. They soon realized they were ready to take the next step in their relationship and make themselves, "Cuicos, party of 3!"
One of the cornerstones of their relationship is their love for family and friends. Kayla and Morgan share a mutual dedication, commitment, and love for their families and friends, and creating a family of their own has always been a hope and goal for them both.
In February 2019, Kayla and Morgan took their first step towards a family by starting testing required and a search for a potential donor. After months of ups and downs, in October of 2019, they began their first attempt at Intrauterine Insemination ("IUI"). One year later, after six failed attempts of IUI and thousands of dollars spent, Kayla and Morgan have been medically diagnosed with "unexplained infertility."
Naturally, the process thus far has not been easy, but Kayla and Morgan are persevering and are now starting the process of In Vitro Fertilization ("IVF"). They have found a doctor whom they trust, and although they will have to travel for treatment with her, they are confident she will be able to help them grow their family.
With so much love to give, Kayla and Morgan are excited for what lies ahead. Unfortunately, the expense of growing their family has taken a toll. And although they're willing to do whatever it takes, they have humbly asked for help from their friends and family. They do not wish to burden anyone and are grateful for any gestures of help, including prayers, well wishes, and good vibes. If you prefer to donate in another way, such as Venmo, Zelle, or anything else, please contact Kayla and Morgan directly. Any contribution you are able to make towards their journey is appreciated, and Kayla and Morgan are so grateful for the love they continue to receive.
