Funeral expenses

Hi my name is Kellie Pike. I'm the grandmother to 3 year old Jaicey Martha Anne Medina (Pike).

On July 5, 2022, we found out Jaicey had a tumor on her brain. She was immediately transferred to Childrens Hospital in Omaha. After a MRI was complete we were told Jaicey had a large tumor & 6-7 small tumors on her brain plus multiple tumors down her spine. July 7th Jaicey went through a 7 hour surgery to remove the large tumor in the back of the brain. We had to wait for pathology reports so they would know how to treat. July 19th some of the pathology reports came back. We were told Jaicey tumor is high grade Medulloblastoma. It's rare & spreads fast. It's also stage 4 - the worse stage. Just this week another MRI was done .... the tumors on top of brain got larger but this was expected since she hasn't had any treatments yet. Just being kept comfortable. Jaicey has a long road ahead of her. She will start radiation treatments for 4-6 weeks plus still do her physical therapy & speech therapy. After radiation she will start chemo. Once Jaicey is stronger she will get moved to Madonna Rehab for extent physical therapy. For now she's at UNMC & will do radiation at Buffett Cancer Center here in Omaha.

I wanted to start this gofund me to help defray costs to her parents, Michaela (Pike) & Jessey Medina, while they stay with Jaicey. The funds will be used for medical purposes, hotel, food, & gas while they are in Omaha.
